“As we gear up for auto shows, we sometimes see quieter weeks in terms of week-to-week volatility as consumers prepare for upcoming announcements,” said Akshay Anand, senior analyst for Kelley Blue Book Insights. “Such is the case this week, as we’re very close to auto show season beginning again with the LA Auto Show. We do see a couple vehicles with recent redesigns and refreshes pop up on the risers list, notably the Subaru Outback and Honda CR-V. The Outback is all-new for 2015, while the CR-V saw a significant refresh. The crossover trend continues as 4 of the 5 risers this week are small or midsize CUVs.”
