“Once again, sales for September showed positive growth for several SUVs and CUVs,” said Akshay Anand, senior analyst for Kelley Blue Book Insights. “Shopping interest has been in line with this trend for some time, and this week is no different. The GLA-Class leads recent introduced/redesigned models with a healthy gain, as Mercedes-Benz has been marketing the vehicle and its relatively low price point for the brand. We also see potential spillover into the CLA-Class, as this is the entry level sedan counterpart to the GLA-Class CUV. The Rogue and Highlander have had a solid 2014 in terms of sales as well, and shoppers continue to look at the two crossovers on kbb.com.”
