“Along with compact and midsize crossovers, one of the steadiest growth segments in KBB.com new-car traffic has been the entry-level luxury segment,” said Akshay Anand, analyst for Kelley Blue Book Insights. “The Cadillac ATS and Mercedes-Benz CLA are prime examples of the segment, as both have been successes from a traffic and sales perspective for their brands. The segment should continue its growth as well, with several manufacturers releasing cars into the segment in 2014.”
